Dr. Ing. Roberto Cincotti

He received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnical University of Milan in 1971. From that time onward he has been active as an Insurance Surveyor and became the catalyst of all the various evolutions of the company up to the foundation of
C & P s.r.l. 

  • In 1971, having passed the National Qualifying Examination, he was enrolled in the Order of Engineers of the Province of Milan, as number 9599.
  • Senior Member of A.I.P.A.I. (Associazione Italiana Periti Assicurativi Incendio e Rischi Diversi – Italian Association of Insurance Surveyors for Fire and Other Risks) with Level II ELAE Qualification (the maximum possible).
  • In 1973-1974 he received the Advanced Degree of “Master in Insurance Engineering” from the Polytechnical University of Milan.
  • He took courses organized by CINEAS at the Polytechnical University of Milan under the patronage of the Civil Defence Service in : ”Assessment of damages due to seismic events” (2001) and “Assessment of damages due to hydro-geological events” (2006).
  • Participation to the seminar “Investigation technique for identification and reconstruction of the causes of fire” at AIAS (2010).
  • Training qualified courses organized by CINEAS at the Polytechnical University of Milan on: “Emerging risks: Renewable energy – engineering and Insurance aspects “ (2012); “Balance sheet analysis – Indicators of health of a company” (2012); “Focus on business interruption damages assessment” (2013).
  • Since 2001 he is an Instructor for CINEAS at the Polytechnical University of Milan for the degree program “Master in Insurance Engineering” and for advanced courses in “Basic Loss Adjustment” and “Advanced Loss Adjustment”.
  • Since 2014 President of the Board of Arbitrators in A.I.P.A.I. (Associazione Italiana Periti Assicurativi Incendio e Rischi Diversi – Italian Association of Insurance Surveyors for Fire and Other Risks).
  • He achieved the title of Perito CLASS (CINEAS LOSS ADJUSTER SENIOR SPECIALIST) (2016).
  • Certification “Perito Liquidatore Assicurativo – Insurance Loss Adjuster” according to standard UNI 11628, Law 4/2013 – Art. 9, C.2 – Certificate n. 172 (2016).
  • Speaker at the seminar “The contractual expert or third expert” organized by the Order of engineers of the province of Monza and Brianza (2018).
  • He took course organized by CINEAS at the Polytechnical University of Milano entitled: “Insurance fraud” (2018).
  • He took course organized by Arbitration and Mediation Chamber of Engineers’ Order of Milan entitled: “The application of GDPR to professionals” (2018).
